YapText (the "Software") is developed and operated by ZPresso LLC ("we", "us", "our"), licensed by the Sharjah Media City Free Zone Authority (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This Disclaimer applies to the YapText website at yaptext.com and to the YapText apps for iPhone, Mac, Android and Chrome. Please read it together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Software Provided "As Is"

YapText is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not promise that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

2. Accuracy of Transcriptions and AI Output

YapText turns speech into text and can rewrite that text using artificial intelligence. Speech recognition and AI rewriting are automated and are not perfect. Results depend on audio quality, background noise, accents, language, and other factors.

Transcripts and polished text may contain mistakes, missing words, or wording that changes your intended meaning. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any text before you send, publish, or rely on it.

3. Not Professional Advice

YapText is a writing and productivity tool. Nothing produced by the Software, and nothing on this website, is legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Do not use YapText as the sole record for medical, legal, court, emergency, or other situations where an error could cause harm.

4. No Guarantee of Results

We make no promise that using YapText will save you a particular amount of time, increase your income, or produce any specific business or personal result. Any examples or testimonials describe individual experiences and are not typical or guaranteed.

5. Third-Party Services

YapText relies on third-party providers for speech recognition, AI processing, hosting, payments, and app distribution (for example OpenAI, Apple, Google, and our payment processors). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of those services, and your use of them may also be subject to their own terms.

6. Your Content

You are solely responsible for what you dictate, transcribe, and share using YapText, and for having any permission needed to record other people. Do not use the Software to record anyone without their consent where the law requires it.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZPresso LLC will not be liable for any loss or damage, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, YapText or any text it produces. Full terms are in section 10 of our Terms of Service.

8. Changes

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of YapText after an update means you accept the revised Disclaimer.
