Book Factory Privacy Policy
Book Factory — website and iPhone app. Last updated 23 August 2026.
Book Factory is operated by ZPresso LLC. This policy covers bookfactory.99dfy.com and the Book Factory iPhone app, which are one service and one account.
What we collect
- Your account — the email address you sign up with, your name, and a phone number if you choose to give one. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash; we never see them.
- What you write — the ideas, notes and transcripts you paste in, the books that get generated from them, any pictures you upload, and your author name, bio and photo.
- Your Claude token, if you choose to add one so books run on your own Claude subscription. It is stored so your books can run and is used for nothing else. You can clear it at any time in Account.
- Usage records — how many books you made, how many credits each one used, and the log of each generation run, so we can bill correctly and support you.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers, no tracking across other apps or websites, no data brokers.
- No payment card details — purchases are handled by our payment processor, and we only receive confirmation that a purchase happened.
- The iPhone app does not use analytics SDKs. It talks only to Book Factory's own server.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the product work:
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else.
Your books
Your books are yours. We do not publish them, sell them, or use them to train anything. Anyone you send a share link to can read that one book — that is the point of the link, so only share it with people you mean to.
How long we keep it
Your account and your books stay until you ask us to delete them. Ask at the address below and we will delete your account, your books and your stored files, and confirm when it is done. Some billing records are kept where the law requires it.
Children
Book Factory is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
